Celebrating its 35th year, The New World Festival of the Arts will be held on Wednesday, August 15th and Thursday, August 17th on the waterfront in downtown Manteo.

Presented by PNC, the show is free and open to the public. It will be open on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

New World Festival of the Arts is a family oriented outdoor show for spectators of all ages. The Festival provides awareness of the current trends in the visual arts while acquainting visitors with the historic town of Manteo. This once a year show coupled with so many other artistic and cultural events makes Roanoke Island a very special place in the hearts of its residents and the many visitors who come and visit the island every year.
