An Occasion For The Arts (AOFTA) is held on the first weekend of October on the streets of historic downtown Williamsburg, Virginia, a popular destination of people from around the world. Founded in 1969, AOFTA is an annual community event, supported by a non-profit organization and dozens of volunteers who work diligently to make the show a success. Our goal is to expand the arts in the community and encourage students to pursue careers in the arts.
