Please note - The Downtown Tunnel (I-264 East) will be closed Saturday and Sunday.

From Norfolk:

Option 1): Midtown Tunnel: The first stoplight after the tunnel is High Street. Turn left, and follow to the water.

Option 2): Take I-264W toward the Downtown Tunnel. Take the I-464 S exit towards the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge(toll). Once in Portsmouth follow the signs to Downtown.

Option 3): Hop on the HRT Ferry from The Waterside to Olde Towne Portsmouth.The Ferry stops at the foot of High Street Landing.

From Virginia Beach:

Option 1): Take I-264 W towards the Downtown Tunnel. Take the I-464 S exit towards the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge(toll). Once in Portsmouth follow the signs to Downtown.

Option 2): Take I-264 W and exit at 11-B Brambleton Avenue. Follow Brambleton Avenue for 7 miles and follow signs toMidtown Tunnel. Once in Portsmouth follow the signs to Downtown.

Option 3): Take I-264 W to I-64 W and follow over the High Rise Bridge. Take US 17 N exit (George Washington Hwy). Take a left on Frederick Blvd. (towards I-264). Take I-264 E to Downtown Portsmouth.

Option 4): Take I-264 W to I-64 W to I-464N. Take the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge (toll) to Portsmouth. Once in Portsmouth follow the signs to Downtown.

From Williamsburg/Richmond:

From I-64 eastbound, take the I-664 South exit and cross the Monitor-Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel. Take Exit 15 onto I-264 East. Take Exit 7B for Downtown Portsmouth.
